AS 0854 DC 12V Electromagnetic Solenoid door Lock for home or office application

AS 0854 DC 12V Electromagnetic Solenoid door Lock for home or office application

Working principle of electromagnetic door lock

The smart electromagnetic door lock for cabinets works on the electromagnetic principle, similar to an electromagnet/DC solenoid valve. When current passes through the electromagnetic coil in the lock body, a strong magnetic force is generated. This magnetic force attracts the adsorption iron plate to achieve the effect of locking the door.

Control circuit: The control circuit is the core of the smart electromagnetic door lock, usually based on a microcontroller such as a single chip microcomputer. It is responsible for receiving and processing various input signals, such as unlocking instructions from a fingerprint recognition module, password input, or RFID card reader. The control circuit also controls the opening and closing of the electromagnetic lock, and some models can also record access logs and perform other functions.

Power supply: Provides the necessary power for the operation of the lock. It can be connected to the mains through a power adapter or powered by batteries. Some smart electromagnetic door locks are also equipped with a backup power supply device to ensure normal use during power outages.

  • Wide Apllication The electronic lock needs to be used with an additional control circuit board. This lock is widely used in storage cabinets, mailboxes, logistics cabinets, filing cabinets, vending machines, shoe cabinets, etc. Usually used in schools, community service stations, hotels, factories, supermarkets and other places.
  • Good Material The outer shell is made of Carbon steel plate, and the internal parts are made of carbon steel. Will not deform and will not rust.
  • Long Product Life Under normal use, no less than 500,000 times.

Part I: Unit Characteristics

1.1 High security

Tamper-proof: With a hidden locking mechanism, there are no obvious weak points, making it difficult to force the lock open. Some models are also equipped with an anti-tamper alarm function, which alerts the user when someone tries to force the lock open.

High encryption level: Uses advanced encryption algorithms to protect user access codes and other data, making it difficult for unauthorized personnel to crack access credentials.

Very convenient

Multiple unlocking methods: Support fingerprint recognition, password input, RFID card access, mobile phone application control and other unlocking methods, providing users with a variety of convenient options.

1.2 Remote monitoring and control: Through the mobile phone APP, users can remotely monitor the status of the cabinet lock, such as whether the cabinet door is open or closed, and can also remotely lock or unlock the cabinet.

1.3 Good manageability

User Management: Allows you to create multiple user profiles with different access rights, and set different access times and permissions for different users, which is very suitable for office and shared living space scenarios.

Access log: It can record detailed access logs, including who opened the cabinet, when it was opened, and how it was opened, so that users can understand the access situation of the cabinet, which is of great significance for security management and problem tracing.

1.4 High durability and stability

Sturdy structure: usually made of high-quality materials such as metal alloys, it is scratch-resistant, impact-resistant, and corrosion-resistant, and has a long service life.

Part 2: Electromagnetic door lock applications

2.1 Home use

Jewelry and valuables cabinet: a cabinet used to lock and store valuables such as jewelry, precious metal collections, etc. to prevent theft and ensure the safety of items.

Medicine cabinet: Families with children or elderly people can install smart electromagnetic locks on the medicine cabinet to prevent children from accessing medicines without permission and avoid potential accidents.

Wine cabinet: For those who like to collect wine, you can use a smart electromagnetic lock to lock the wine cabinet to prevent family members from drinking excessively or others from entering without authorization.

2.2 Office Usage

File cabinets: Offices usually have a large number of confidential documents and files. Installing smart electromagnetic door locks on file cabinets can limit access by authorized personnel and protect the security and confidentiality of files.

Equipment storage cabinets: Cabinets that store important office equipment such as cameras, projectors, and laptops can be equipped with smart electromagnetic locks to prevent the equipment from being misused or stolen.

Supply cabinets: Cabinets that store office supplies such as paper, ink cartridges, and staplers can also use smart electromagnetic door locks to control access and manage inventory.

2.3 Industrial Uses

Machine access panels: On industrial machinery, smart electromagnetic door locks can be installed on access panels to prevent unauthorized personnel from opening the panels and causing equipment damage or accidents.

Dangerous goods storage cabinets: In chemical plants, laboratories and other places, cabinets for storing dangerous goods need to be strictly managed. Smart electromagnetic door locks can restrict access to ensure the safety of materials and the surrounding environment.

Electrical equipment cabinets: Cabinets for electrical control equipment, distribution boxes and other equipment can use intelligent electromagnetic door locks to prevent illegal operations by others and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

2.4 Retail and hotel industry

Retail Display Cabinets: In jewelry stores, watch stores, and other retail stores, smart electromagnetic door locks are used on display cabinets to protect valuable merchandise from theft.

Hotel Minibars and Safes: In hotels, smart electromagnetic door locks can be installed on the mini bar and in-room safe to prevent unauthorized access or theft by guests.

Backstage storage cabinets: In restaurants, cafes and other hospitality venues, smart electromagnetic door locks can be used to protect backstage storage cabinets to safeguard food ingredients, cooking utensils and other items.

2.5 Education and Healthcare

School Lockers: In schools, colleges and other places, lockers for teaching materials, chemicals, laboratory equipment, etc. can use smart electromagnetic door locks to ensure the safety of items.

Hospital medicine cabinets: In hospitals, clinics and other places, smart electromagnetic door locks are installed on medicine cabinets to prevent others from illegally obtaining prescription drugs and ensure the safety of drug management.

Medical supply cabinets: Cabinets that store expensive medical equipment, disposable medical supplies, etc. can also use smart electromagnetic door locks to control access and protect the safety of supplies.

Part 3: Maintenance and troubleshooting of cabinet smart door locks

3.1 Maintenance

Keep it clean

Exterior: Regularly wipe the surface of the lock with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust, stains, and fingerprints. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the surface and components of the lock.

Fingerprint sensor or recognition area: If the lock has biometric features, gently clean the fingerprint sensor or recognition area with a dry, soft cloth to ensure accurate recognition.

3.2 Lubrication mechanism

Lock cylinder and moving parts: Use special lock lubricant or graphite powder to lubricate the lock cylinder and other moving parts regularly 3. Use lubricant sparingly to avoid attracting dust.

3.3 Check the power supply

Battery-powered locks: Check the battery charge regularly. When the battery charge is low, replace it with a recommended type of battery.

3.4 Wired locks: Make sure the power cord is intact. Check the connection points for signs of looseness or corrosion.

3.5 Checking the installation and components

Check for looseness: Regularly check the screws and fasteners that secure the lock to the cabinet to make sure they are tight. Tighten any loose screws to prevent the lock from becoming misaligned or falling out.
