AS 1054 DC 12V Solenoid Electromagnetic Cabinet Door Lock

AS 1054 Cabinet smart solenoid door lock working principle and feature

Working Principle

Electromagnetic Induction: Cabinet smart solenoid door locks work on the principle of electromagnetism, similar to electromagnet/DC Solenoid. When an electric current passes through the solenoid coil in the lock body, a strong magnetic force is generated. This magnetic force attracts the adsorption iron plate, achieving the effect of locking the door.

Control Circuit: The control circuit is the core of the smart solenoid door lock, usually based on a microcontroller like a single-chip microcomputer. It is responsible for receiving and processing various input signals, such as unlocking instructions from fingerprint recognition modules, password input, or RFID card readers. The control circuit also controls the on and off of the electromagnetic lock, and some models can also record access logs and perform other functions.

Power Supply: It provides the necessary electrical energy for the operation of the lock. It can be connected to a mains power supply through a power adapter or use battery power. Some smart solenoid door locks are also equipped with backup power supply devices to ensure normal use during power outages.

  • Wide Apllication The electronic lock needs to be used with an additional control circuit board. This lock is widely used in storage cabinets, mailboxes, logistics cabinets, filing cabinets, vending machines, shoe cabinets, etc. Usually used in schools, community service stations, hotels, factories, supermarkets and other places.
  • Good Material The outer shell is made of Carbon steel plate, and the internal parts are made of carbon steel. Will not deform and will not rust.
  • Long Product Life Under normal use, no less than 500,000 times.

1.2 Remote Monitoring and Control:

Through the mobile app, users can remotely monitor the status of the cabinet lock, such as whether the cabinet door is open or closed, and can also remotely lock or unlock the cabinet.

1.3 Good Manageability

User Management: It is allowed to create multiple user profiles with different access rights, and different access times and permissions can be set for different users, which is very suitable for office and shared living space scenarios.

Access Log: It can record detailed access logs, including who opened the cabinet, when and how, which is convenient for users to understand the access situation of the cabinet and is of great significance for security management and problem tracing.

1.4 High Durability and Stability

Sturdy Construction: Usually made of high-quality materials such as metal alloys, which are resistant to scratches, impacts and corrosion, and have a long service life.

1.5 Error Handling:

In case of power failure or other malfunctions, some smart solenoid door locks are equipped with mechanical override options, such as keyholes, to ensure that users can still access the contents of the cabinet in an emergency.

Part 2 : Solenoid door locks applications

2.1 Home Use

Jewelry and Valuables Cabinets: They can be used to lock cabinets storing jewelry, precious metal collections, and other valuables, preventing theft and ensuring the safety of the items.

Medicine Cabinets: In households with children or elderly people, smart solenoid locks can be installed on medicine cabinets to prevent children from accessing medications without permission and avoid potential accidents.

Liquor Cabinets: For those who like to collect liquor, a smart solenoid lock can be used to lock the liquor cabinet to prevent excessive drinking by family members or unauthorized access by others.

2.2 Office Use

Filing Cabinets: Offices usually have a large number of confidential documents and files. Installing smart solenoid door locks on filing cabinets can restrict access to authorized personnel, protecting the security and confidentiality of the documents.

Equipment Storage Cabinets: Cabinets storing important office equipment, such as cameras, projectors, and laptops, can be equipped with smart solenoid locks to prevent equipment from being misused or stolen.

Supply Closets: Cabinets storing office supplies like paper, ink cartridges, and staplers can also use smart solenoid door locks to control access and manage inventory.

2.3 Industrial Use

Machine Access Panels: On industrial machinery, smart solenoid door locks can be installed on access panels to prevent unauthorized personnel from opening the panels and causing equipment damage or accidents.

Hazardous Materials Storage Cabinets: In chemical plants, laboratories, and other places, cabinets storing hazardous materials need to be strictly managed. Smart solenoid door locks can restrict access to ensure the safety of the materials and the surrounding environment.

Electrical Equipment Cabinets: Cabinets housing electrical control equipment, distribution boxes, and other devices can use smart solenoid door locks to prevent unauthorized operation and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

2.4 Retail and Hospitality

Retail Display Cases: In jewelry stores, watch stores, and other retail stores, smart solenoid door locks are used on display cases to protect high-value merchandise from theft.

Hotel Minibars and Safes: In hotels, smart solenoid door locks can be installed on minibars and in-room safes to prevent guests from unauthorized access or theft.

Back-of-House Storage Cabinets: In restaurants, cafes, and other hospitality establishments, smart solenoid door locks can be used to secure back-of-house storage cabinets, protecting food ingredients, cooking utensils, and other items.
