Part 1 : What is a sharing charging station solenoid ?
sharing charging station solenoid is an electromagnetic device used in shared power banks.
Structurally, it is composed of a single electromagnet, which can be combined into a group of 6 or 12 electromagnets. A single solenoid is mainly composed of a copper coil, an iron core and an armature. The copper coil is wound with an insulated wire and is the key part of generating a magnetic field when powered on; the iron core is generally made of soft magnetic materials (such as silicon steel sheets) to enhance the strength of the magnetic field; the armature will move under the action of the magnetic field.
Part 2 : The working principle of the charging station solenoid ?
When current passes through the copper coil, a magnetic field is generated that magnetizes the iron core, thereby generating a strong electromagnetic suction force. In shared power bank devices, this suction force is mainly used to control the locking and ejection of the power bank. For example, after the power bank is returned, the solenoid is energized, and the suction force generated will lock the power bank firmly in the charging cabinet; and when the user rents the power bank, the system controls the solenoid to cut off the power or change the direction of the current, so that the suction force disappears or decreases, so that the power bank can be ejected smoothly into the machine.
Part 3 : The advantage and disadvantage of charging station solenoid?
3.1: Easy control: The presence, strength and direction of its magnetism can be accurately controlled by turning on and off the current. For example, the charging cabinet controls the current on and off to unlock or lock the power bank, which is simple and accurate to operate.
3.2: Fast response: After power is turned on, it can quickly generate a magnetic field, with a large control torque, and can quickly realize the ejection and locking of the power bank, improving the user experience.
3.3 : Simple structure: It is mainly composed of a coil, an iron core and an armature, with a relatively simple structure, easy to install and maintain, reducing production costs and maintenance difficulties.
3.4: quiet operation: The sound generated during operation is weak and will not cause noise interference to the surrounding. It is suitable for application in various places, such as shopping malls, offices, trading fair....etc.
3.5: Strong carrying capacity: It has strong magnetism and can withstand a certain load, ensuring the stability of the power bank in the locked state and preventing it from accidentally falling off.
The main disadvantages of sharing Charging station Solenoid are:
3.6: Dependence on power supply: It requires an external power supply and cannot work without power supply. Once there is a problem with the power supply of the charging cabinet, the solenoid will not be able to control the power bank normally.
3.7: Low efficiency: Controlling the size of the magnetic force usually consumes a lot of electricity, and its own efficiency is relatively low. Long-term operation will increase certain operating costs.
3.8: High heat generation: When powered on, it will generate a lot of heat. Long-term operation may cause the temperature to be little high, affecting the performance and life. Therefore, heat dissipation measures need to be taken, which increases the complexity and cost of the equipment.
3.9: Risk of wear and tear: After long-term and frequent operation, the armature and other parts of the solenoid will be worn and corroded, and need to be regularly inspected and replaced, otherwise it may fail and affect the normal operation of the power bank.
