AS- LP1 224 Electromagnetic Solenoid Pump

What is an eletromagnetic solenoid pump ?

An electromagnetic solenoid pump is a device that uses electromagnetic force to control the flow of liquid. Its main structure consists of a pump housing body, an electromagnetic coil, an iron core, and an electrode assembly. When current passes through the solenoid coil, magnetic force is generated, which drives the iron core/plunger to move and water pumping. In this way, the electromagnetic solenoid pump can control the flow of liquid by regulating and manipulating the current in the system.

Woring Prcinciple of Solenoid Pump

The working principle of the electromagnetic solenoid pump is to use the interaction between the magnetic field and the current in the conductive fluid to cause the fluid to generate a pressure difference under the action of electromagnetic force, thereby driving the fluid to move. When an alternating current is passed through the electromagnetic coil of the electromagnetic pump, an alternating magnetic field is generated. The conductive fluid in the magnetic field is driven and directed to flow under the action of the Lorentz force. With this innovative device and operation method, the electromagnetic pump can achieve ideal, consistent and repeatable fluid distribution or injection. These components are ideal for applications that require precise fluid control. They are widely used in many important industries that value comprehensive control, including medical equipment, automotive systems and agricultural applications.

The types of Solenoid Pump

There are many types of electromagneic pumps: direct-acting, pilot-operated, proportional, isolated and clamp-tube types. Each solenoid pump has its own unique functions and applications, such as low-pressure operation, high-pressure accuracy, variable flow, and handling of corrosive fluids.

    Frequently Asked Questions
Electromagnetic interference: The magnetic field generated by the electromagnetic pump when it is working may interfere with the surrounding electronic equipment, and effective electromagnetic shielding measures need to be taken.
Heating problem: The electromagnetic coil will generate heat when it is powered on. If the heat dissipation is poor, it may cause the coil temperature to be too high, reducing the efficiency and service life of the electromagnetic pump.
Fluid compatibility: For some special fluids, they may react chemically with the pump body material or affect the conductivity of the fluid, thereby affecting the normal operation of the electromagnetic pump. It is necessary to select suitable pump body materials and fluids.
Cavitation phenomenon: When the fluid flows in the pump, if the pressure is too low, cavitation may occur, damaging the pump body and affecting the performance of the pump. It is necessary to reasonably design the structure and working parameters of the pump to avoid the generation of cavitation.
