DC Solenoid Application

How Stamping Part Are Working in DC Solenoid Applications

Metal stamping parts are being applications in DC solenoid and Solenoid valve products. The comment stamping parts we have seen in solenoid products as below:
1.Plunger part
Metal stamping parts can be used to make the plunger of solenoid /electromagnets. The plunger is the key part of the electromagnet and is usually stamped from soft magnetic materials, such as silicon steel sheet stamping parts. Because the magnetic permeability of silicon steel sheets is high, it can enhance the magnetism of electromagnets, and the stamped plunger can reduce eddy current losses under alternating magnetic fields and improve the efficiency of electromagnets.
2.Housing enclosure
The stamped metal casing can wrap the electromagnet to protect the internal coil and core. This not only prevents external factors (such as dust and moisture) from damaging the electromagnet, but also prevents electromagnetic interference from affecting surrounding electronic equipment to a certain extent. For example, when some small electromagnets are used in electronic equipment, the metal stamping casing can ensure their stable operation.
3.Sliding Part
Metal stamping parts are used in the sliding part of some electromagnets. The sliding part can guide the distribution of magnetic lines of force, making the magnetic field more concentrated and effective. By making the pole pieces through a stamping process, the shape and size can be precisely controlled so that the magnetic field of the electromagnet is distributed in the desired manner, thereby enhancing the attraction or repulsion of the electromagnet to a specific area.
4.Pole piece production
Some electromagnets use metal stamping for their poles. Pole pieces guide the distribution of magnetic lines of force, making the magnetic field more concentrated and effective. By stamping pole pieces, the shape and size can be precisely controlled, so that the magnetic field of the electromagnet is distributed in the desired manner, enhancing the attraction or repulsion of the electromagnet to a specific area.
