 How Does a Push Pull Solenoid Actuator Work ?

Efficient and durable push-pull solenoids generate a significant amount of force for their comparatively small size, this makes the push pull particularly suited to high-force short-stroke applications.

The compact size of the solenoid optimises the magnetic flux path, alongside a precision coil winding technique which packs the maximum amount of copper wire into the available space, allowing maximum force to be generated.

Push-pull solenoids have 2 shafts relative to the mounting studs, the shaft on the same side as the studs pushes and the shaft on the armature side pulls, so you have both options on the same solenoid. As opposed to other solenoids like tubulars which are independent of each other.

It is steady, durable and energy-saving, and had a long lifespan with more than 300,000 cycle time. In the anti-theft and shockproof design, the lock is better than other kinds of locks. After connecting the wires and when the current is available, the electric lock can control the door’s opening and closing.

Note: Take care of polarity while making the connection without a connector (i.e. Red wire should be connected to the positive and Black wire to the negative.)
